OPERATION OF THE GREASE DEVICE V
The grease lubricator V is driven by the horizontal shaft mounted in 2 ball bearings. The vertical eccentric shaft is set in motion via a worm and worm gear transmission. The hardened pressure ring, which is mounted on the eccentric shaft by means of a ball bearing, commands the pump element. The bearing of all rotating parts in ball bearings guarantees minimal wear and low torque. The thrust ring moves the working plunger in a steady stroke. The pilot plunger follows the work plunger according to the rate set, closing off the outlet bore. When the pilot plunger stops, a vacuum is created in the cylinder until the work plunger has passed the suction bore and the lubricant is drawn into the cylinder. During the discharge stroke, the lubricant is pushed out by the work plunger until the outlet bore is cleared and the work plunger can force the lubricant to the lubrication point. This mode of operation also provides a high degree of certainty with small releases.

NUMBER OF PUMP ELEMENTS
The grease lubricator V is suitable for a maximum of 10 or 20 pump elements. This means that a device, which is supplied with less than 10 pump elements, can later be expanded to a maximum of 10 pump elements. Lubricators with a delivered number of pump elements of 11 or more can be expanded to 20 pump elements. The holes in the device that are not used are closed with blanking plugs. A special version with up to 23 outlets can also be supplied on request.
