Description
It is advisable to always use the follower plate, especially with high
viscosity and low temperature grease.
Due to the vacuum, created by the pump, the follower plate
will be pushed down by the prevailing atmosphere.
This will push the grease into the pump and prevent air
bubbles. The follower plate also scrapes the grease of the barrel wall.
